Over and above the annual fees set for students, fundraising contributes to Albert Park Primary School's ability to provide a diverse range of educational programs, resources and facilities.
APPS is fortunate to have an enthusiastic and talented parent community, not to mention fantastic staff. Together we organise a series of wonderful regular fundraising and social events throughout the year. We raise sufficient funds to achieve APPS' designated educational goals and improving its physical resources in line with fundraising targets approved by School Council and the School Strategic Plan.
Fundraising's aims include the improved promotion of the school and liaison with local businesses and the wider community, and school social events that assist with community-building and overall improvement of students', staff and family quality of life.
Greg Hocking Holdsworth - APPS Major Sponsor
APPS is delighted to have Greg Hocking Holdsworth as the school's major sponsor of all fundraising events again in 2019.
This sponsorship is made up of two parts:
1. Annual Sponsorship which contributes towards ICT upgrades, resources and grounds maintenance; AND
2. 10% of the commission Greg Hocking Holdsworth receive from the sale of any property of an APPS family.
So, if you're thinking of selling your home, think Greg Hocking Holdsworth. A portion of their commission from the sale of your house will be donated to the school!
Having more than 76 years of experience between directors, the highly experienced and client-focused Albert Park team are led by directors Warwick Gardiner and Simon Gowling. With most of the Greg Hocking Holdsworth team living in Albert Park and being a part of the local community, they have witnessed its growth and development over the years with the ever-changing market, adapting approaches and strategies to benefit their clients.
